Education

Education is important in the fight against doping in sport. This should start with the education of youth and continue throughout an athlete's career.

Education is the responsibility of administrators, coaches and trainers in National Badminton Associations. This should be supported by National Anti-doping Agencies. The BWF is also responsible for providing an education programme - both awarness and a programme that looks at the values of sport and the importance of fairness. BWF has a campaign - Rally Against Doping - that focuses on educating badminton players on ethics in sport and on anti-doping.

WADA has a comprehensie set of anti-doping education and awarness programmes and reources.

Below is a summary of some of the online resources that WADA has developed. These are available in many different languages and are easy to use and follow.  The resources are aimed at individual athletes, coaches and and also national and international sports organisations. WADA is developing new resources on an on-going basis. Please check the WADA website (see above link) to see what new materials are available or what new languages are available for the existing resources.
